About PVC Waterproofing System

PVC membranes are loose-laid and welded rather than bonded, and every weld can be air-tested on site before the concrete goes on top — a level of verification no adhesive system offers. Waterstops cast into the construction joints divide the structure into sealed compartments, so if water ever does get past the sheet it is confined to one bay instead of migrating through the whole basement.

That compartmenting is what makes the system re-injectable years later: each compartment carries its own grout ports, and a single bay can be sealed without opening up the building. PVC is unaffected by ground salts and by the chloride-heavy soils common on Qatari coastal sites, and it stays flexible enough to bridge the settlement a deep structure sees in its first years.
