About Lining & Insulation
A waterproofing membrane rarely works alone. Above it a protection board takes the abuse of screeding and backfill; below or above it, depending on whether the roof is warm or inverted, the insulation carries the thermal duty; and a separation layer keeps materials apart that would otherwise attack each other. Get the order or the fixing wrong and the membrane fails for reasons that have nothing to do with the membrane.
We supply and install the whole build-up: extruded and expanded polystyrene, polyisocyanurate, rock wool, geotextile separation layers, drainage and protection sheets, and the tank and duct linings that go with them. Specifying the stack in one package is also what keeps the warranty whole, because one contractor is answerable for every layer in it.
