About Soil Stabilization

Qatar’s coastal ground is rarely uniform: sabkha, loose sand, fill of unknown provenance and pockets of soft material all sit under the same footprint. Stabilisation treats that ground where it lies — binders mixed into the subgrade, injected grout filling voids, or a cellular confinement layer holding granular fill so it behaves as a slab instead of loose stone.

The technique is chosen from the investigation, not from habit. We read the borehole logs and the loading, specify the treatment and the depth, and prove the result with plate load or CBR testing before anything is built on it. Done properly it removes the settlement risk that otherwise shows up years later as cracked slabs and out-of-level floors.
