Micro Piling

Small-diameter grouted piles installed with compact rigs — the foundation solution for sites where a full-size piling rig cannot physically get to the work.

About Micro Piling

Micro piles carry real load through a high-strength grout body reinforced with a central bar or tube, and because the equipment is small they can be installed inside an existing building, in a basement with limited headroom, or on a plot too tight for a crawler rig. Access, not capacity, is what usually brings them onto a project.

That makes them the standard answer for underpinning: a settling structure is supported on new piles taken down to competent ground without demolishing what is above. They also suit ground with obstructions or old foundations, where a large-displacement pile would refuse and a drilled micro pile simply goes through.
