About Polyurethane Flooring
Polyurethane floors stay flexible where epoxy is rigid, so they absorb impact and tolerate the expansion and contraction that comes with steam cleaning, hot spillage and cold storage. Polyurethane-cement screeds go further still, taking sustained heat and steam sterilisation without debonding.
The systems are laid at four to nine millimetres depending on the duty, with integral coving and drainage falls formed as part of the installation, so a wash-down area drains properly and leaves no joint for bacteria to sit in.
