About Cementitious Coating Systems
Cementitious coatings are cement-based systems modified with polymers so they bond to concrete, stay flexible enough to bridge fine cracks and resist water under pressure. They are used both as a protective layer over new concrete and as a repair skim over surfaces that have weathered or carbonated.
The same family covers several duties: rigid slurries for tanking below ground, flexible two-component membranes for wet areas and roofs, and fairing coats that fill blowholes and bring a surface back to a uniform finish before painting.
